Fun for the Whole Family | Lubbock, TX Upcoming Events

Karate Tots and Kids

Kids can learn the art of karate at the Hodges Community Center. Each Thursday, students will start with the basics and learn more advanced skills as time goes on. For ages 3 to 4, Karate Tot classes begin at 5:45 PM. For older students aged 5-13, Karate Kid classes begin at 6:15 PM. Pay $15 per class or $15 a month for unlimited classes. Game On

Visit the Patterson Branch Library and play board games today from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. Children in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited. Call (806) 767-3300 or email [email protected] for more information.

Crafternoons

On the last Friday of every month starting at 2 PM, join the Hodges Community Center for relaxing afternoons filled with crafting! Although the projects are meant for children aged 6 to 12, the whole family is welcome to participate! Classes are $3 per month. Pre-registration is required.

Friday: The Roaring ‘20s: Glitz, Glam, Music, and Dance of the Jazz Age @ LHUCA Firehouse Theatre, 7:30 PM

The Flatlands Dance Theater returns with another tribute to the golden age of music and pop culture. This show invites the audience to travel back to the Roaring 20s through immersive music and dance. Prior to the show, guests can purchase custom drinks.
