Fun for the Whole Family | Lubbock, TX Upcoming Events
Story Ballet
Today, Ballet Lubbock presents a ballet program for children 6-10 years old at Mahon Library from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Students can begin a journey where dance, music, art, and history all combine. They will learn the foundation of classical technique and history of the art form. Call (806) 775-2835 for more information.
Youth Artist Guild
Support student creativity and passion for performing arts by attending the Lubbock Youth Artist Guild’s set of performances for the 2023-2024 season. Students are involved through the whole process of the production, from show selection to costume design and more. Admission is $17 for children and seniors and $19 for adults. This month, the collective will be performing “Wagon Wheels A-Rollin’,” and the performance dates are May 10-12 and 17-19. For more information, visit www.yaglubbock.org.

Bike Rodeo
This Saturday, head to Safety City for Bike Rodeo! The event is an interactive way for children to learn important bike safety skills in a controlled environment. Participants will navigate through various safety courses and activities designed to teach about traffic signs, signals, and rules of the road. Instructors will provide guidance and supervision, ensuring that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
This is a free event with no registration required.
