The Daily Scoop | Lubbock Chorale presents Mozart’s Requiem on Sunday

This Sunday, the Lubbock Chorale will present Mozart’s Requiem at St. John’s United Methodist Church. This classic concerto piece is one of Mozart’s most culturally renowned compositions.

55th Annual Ranch Day

On Saturday, head to the National Ranching Heritage Center from 10 AM to 4 PM for an immersive experience of ranching history, skills and science. This weekend, the ranch will come alive with real cowboys, livestock and activities centered around ranch life, offering a hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.

Adoption Day

Saturday’s Adoption Day at South Plains SPCA. Browse all of the dogs up for adoption, and possibly, bring a new family member home with you. The fun begins at 11 AM!

Hub City Life | Lubbock, TX Upcoming Events

Thursday: Thursday Night Dance @ Lubbock Adult Activity Center, 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

Dance the night away tonight! Cost is $10 to attend, cash only. Ages 50 and up are invited!

Friday: BBQ Lunch @ Four Bar K, 11:30 AM to 2 PM

Join Four Bar K for a weekly buffet with an assortment of dishes including, smoked brisket, sausage, and home-made chicken and dumplings. Free beer and live music will also be included. The lunch costs $15 per person.

Saturday: Run S’more 5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk, or Skip, 9 AM to 11 AM

Participate in the second annual Run S'more 5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk, or Skip fun run! Bring your friends and family and head outdoors for an exciting race to raise funds for Camp Rio Blanco.
