If you have a green thumb, head to the Heart of Lubbock community garden tomorrow. There, you can prepare the garden for spring sprouts and connect with your neighbors amid the beauty of nature. For more information, click here. The garden is located on Ave. X and 21st St.

According to Covenant Medical Center, three babies were born during yesterday’s holiday. Two of the babies’ names were Cassiel Vasquez and Adelyn Turner. Read more here.

Texas Tech freezes tuition for 2024-25 school year
Texas Tech University, state legislators, and voters have decided to freeze the institution’s tuition, housing, and dining costs for the next school year. These rates haven’t changed since Fall 2021, according to the press release. Click here to read more.

Boys’ basketball playoffs continue this week. Here are the upcoming games!

The Canadian High School boy’s basketball team won 50-34 against Shallowater on Wednesday night, but that wasn’t the only victory. The team also received $15,000 for wildfire recovery from the opposing team. Click here to read more.
