Looking for some mid-week fun? Look no further! If you like exercise, grab some of your friends and join the City Parks & Recreation’s softball team! Ten games are guaranteed, and there will be a small tournament at the end of the session. There will be mens’, womens’, and coed teams. Registration is $425 per team. The Daily Scoop | A new buffet is on its way to Lubbock

Soon Hayashi Buffet and China Star won’t be the only all-you-can-eat dining options for Chinese cuisine. Motomaro offers all-you-can-eat sushi, hibachi, and hot pot for those with a taste for something new. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM. Read more here!

Lubbock Lake Landmark hosts first-ever after-dark hike

Lubbock Lake Landmark will host a new challenge for local hikers. On March 23, there will be the first-ever after-dark hike at night. The hikes will begin at the Nash Interpretive Center 7:30 PM and will last 75 to 90 minutes. Click here to read more.

Girls’ basketball

  • Shallowater beat Canadian last night with a winning score of 67-56. Read the coverage here.

During the Region I-1A seminfinals tournament, Nazareth goes head to head against Whiteface on Friday at South Plains College, 1 PM.

Borden County plays McLean on Friday at 2:30 PM.

Finals are on Saturday at South Plains College, 2 PM.

Join an all-age activity that can be done in your own neighborhood! During the self-guided experience, you can use your smartphone to interact with virtual characters. Explore your neighborhood and gather information about the case and answer phone calls from the Chief of Police. Tickets are $25 per person. Cats & Dogs The Exhibition

Visit an immersive attraction all about your favorite furry friends at the Science Spectrum! There, you can learn about canine and feline body types, personalities, physical skills, and more. From Feb. 16 to May 27, guests can also watch SuperPower Dogs, a film narrated by Chris Evans at the OMNI Theater. Tickets range from $12 to $20. For more information, click here.
