The Daily Scoop | The old Señor Chubby’s location finds a new tenant

Señor Chubby’s owner Arben Benito told EverythingLubbock.com that a new restaurant will be opening soon in the vacated space. Benito’s Italian café and pizzeria’s second location will open soon in the Lubbock area, with a date set for the second week in March. Read more here.

Pop Isaacs denies civil sexual assault allegations

Texas Tech basketball player Pop Isaacs denied the sexual assault allegations that were made against him, according to new court records. A 17-year-old’s parents claimed that Isaacs assaulted their daughter while she was under the influence. The suit seeks $1 million in damages. Read more here.
