Every Wednesday, you can start your day feeling grounded and relaxed with other women in the community while surrounded by nature. Bring your kids for staff-supervised play time in the Lazer Maze and Ocean Playground. Classes begin at 9 AM and are an hour long. Pay $14.99 per class or $49.99 a month for four classes.

The Daily Scoop | TTU Athletics introduces new ticketing system

As announced over the weekend, Texas Tech Athletics will install a new mobile ticketing system at Rip Griffin Park. The process will begin this weekend, when the Red Raiders baseball team takes on Texas Southern University in a three-game series. Read more here.

Election Season Is Underway

With the general election taking place on May 4, potential candidates are scrambling to file their interest. Many seats leave a lot of room for competition with only one candidate running. Click here to read the coverage.

Regional playoffs and quarterfinals for girls’ and boys’ basketball continues. Here are the latest scores and upcoming games!

Girls’ basketball

  • Amarillo High defeated Monterey 75-68 on Monday night, leading them to win the Region I-5A quarterfinals. Read the full story here.

  • Last night, Southlake defeated Frenship with a score of 67-46.

  • Canyon won 56-47 against Seminole High School last night.

During the Region I-1A semifinals tournament, Nazareth goes head to head against Whiteface on Friday at South Plains College, 1 PM.

Borden County plays McLean on Friday at 2:30 PM.

Finals are on Saturday at South Plains College, 2 PM.

Boys’ basketball

  • Last night, Lubbock-Cooper High School won against Plainview 60-47.

  • Amarillo Tascosa beat Monterey 67-60 at the end of last night’s game.

  • Seminole defeated Hereford High School 53-41.

New Home plays Sterling City on Thursday at Big Spring High School, 7 PM.
